Manila Cathedral Sunday Mass will have a sign language interpreter – Manila Bulletin
Sunday Mass at Manila Cathedral in Intramuros will now have a sign language interpreter.
In a Facebook post, the Manila Cathedral said it was for their 8 a.m. mass.
“We are happy to announce that our 8 a.m. mass every Sunday will have a sign language interpreter for our deaf brothers and sisters,” the message read.
“Our gratitude to the ministry of interpreters and signatories in the Archdiocese of Manila for proclaiming the Word of God to all members of the Body of Christ, the Church,” he added.
In 2019, Manila Cathedral also announced the inclusion of a sign language interpreter in its liturgical celebrations.
This is done through the live social media broadcast of TV Maria, the Philippine Catholic television channel.
TV Maria usually broadcasts masses live at the cathedral.
