Priests ordained in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany
ALBANY – On Saturday, five deacons were ordained priests for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany by Bishop Edward B. Scharfenberger during a mass and ordination rite at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. With the information provided by the diocese, it is about:
Matthieu Duclos, 30-year-old from Clifton Park and Corpus Christi Parish in Round Lake attended Shenendehowa Public Schools, SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music, St. John’s University in Queens, Pontifical Gregorian University and the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas Angelicum in Rome and will return to Italy after ordination to attend the Pontifical Gregorian University. Deacon Duclos attended seminary at the Cathedral Seminary House of Formation in Douglaston, New York, and the Pontifical North American College in Rome. His parish assignments have included Blessed Sacrament, Albany; St. Patrick’s, Ravena, and St. Mary’s, Coxsackie; St. Edmund of Canterbury, Loughton, United Kingdom; Saint John the Evangelist and Saint Anthony, Schenectady; and St. Mary’s, Glens Falls. He will celebrate his first Mass at Corpus Christi in Round Lake on Sunday, June 20 at 3:30 p.m.
